No. You have full transparency and control over the calculation. Nuqo structures BOMs, finds materials including prices in catalogs, and assigns labor steps. You decide which material prices are stored, which durations and hourly rates apply to the labor steps, and which markups are set.

Can I bring in my own expertise?

Yes. Nuqo automatically identifies important follow-up questions. These are shown to you side by side with the relevant source document from the inquiry. In addition, you can edit all data directly (e.g. BOM, material assignment) to correct any errors or misunderstandings.

Is Nuqo a CPQ software?

CPQ stands for Configure, Price, Quote. Nuqo focuses on the pricing and quoting part — specifically for wire harness manufacturing. You upload BOMs and drawings, and Nuqo generates a quote. Product configuration in the traditional CPQ sense is not included, since wire harnesses are custom-engineered to order.

Nuqo takes the opposite approach. It works directly with the documents your customer sends (PDF drawings, Excel/CSV BOMs, even photos), extracts the specifications with AI, and produces a quote without any CAD step. That makes Nuqo the better fit for contract manufacturers who quote their customers' designs rather than creating their own.
